Antigen description

Human blood group A antigen belongs to a group of carbohydrate determinats carried on both glycolipids and glycoproteins; it is detected on erythrocytes and certain epithelial cells.

Flow cytometry surface staining pattern of human peripheral whole blood stained using anti-human Blood Group A (HE-195) purified antibody (concentration in sample 3,3 μg/ml, GAM APC).

Separation of erythrocytes stained anti-human Blood Group A (HE-195) purified antibody (concentration in sample 3,3 μg/ml, GAM APC, red-filled) from erythrocytes unstained by primary antibody (GAM APC, black-dashed) in flow cytometry analysis (surface staining).
