Description

Recombinant protein human Interleukin-3 is expressed in S2 cell (Drosophila). DNA sequence encoding 159 AAs was fused with Strep-tag at the N-terminus. A calculated molecular mass of recombinant protein is 17.8 kDa.

Preparation

Purified by affinity chromatography. Lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered solution in Storage buffer (100 mM Tris, 150 mM NaCl, 0.01% Tween 20, pH 8.0).

Storage and handling

Store at -20°C to -80°C. Reconstitute in sterile deionized water. Use reconstituted product immediately or aliquot for further storage at -20°C to -80°C.

Bioactivity of recombinant human IL-3, measured by a cell proliferation assay using TF-1 human erythroleukemic cells and WST-8 fluorometric assay method. The ED50 for this effect is 0.8793 ng/ml.
