Description
Recombinant human PAG / Cbp is expressed in
E. coli.
DNA sequence encoding intracellular domain of human Cbp/PAG (amino acids 41- 432) was fused with a His tag at the N-terminus.
A calculated molecular mass of fussion protein is 45.3 kDa. As a result of highly acidic character of Cbp/PAG (predicted isoelectric point pI 4.4) and further modification by phosphorylation, the recombinant protein migrates as a 70 - 85 kDa protein in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.
Contents
Recombinant human PAG / Cbp - 1 vial (0.1 mg).
Reconstitute vial content with 100 μl sterile deionized water.
For long term storage or for preparation of more diluted working stock solution, a carrier protein (e.g. 1% serum albumin) should be added to the vial.
Preparation
Purified by affinity chromatography. Lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered solution in Storage buffer (PBS, pH 7.4).
Storage and handling
Store at -20°C to -80°C. Reconstitute in sterile deionized water. Use reconstituted product immediately or aliquot for further storage at -20°C to -80°C.

SDS-PAGE Electrophoresis of Cbp / PAG recombinant protein (cat. no. EXB0009, previously RL-004-C100). 12% separating gel, 6% stacking gel; reducing conditions. Lane 1-5: Cbp / PAG recombinant protein (2000 ng, 1000 ng, 500 ng, 200 ng, 100 ng per lane). Staining with Coomassie Blue.
Western blotting analysis of Cbp / PAG recombinant protein (cat. no. EXB0009, previously RL-004-C100). Reducing conditions. Lane 1-4: immunostaining with anti-Cbp rabbit polyclonal antibody (EXBIO cat. no. 11-409-C100; dilution 0.5 μg/ml). Detection with Goat anti-rabbit / HRP secondary antibody. Amount of Cbp/PAG recombinant protein loaded on each lane: (1) 100 ng, (2) 50 ng, (3) 20 ng, (4) 10 ng.
