Flow cytometry: The reagent is designed for analysis of 10⁶ cells using 5 μl of the reagent.

Description

The 7-AAD (7-aminoactinomycin D) solution is intended to evaluate cell viability and/or discriminate late apoptotic or necrotic cells by flow cytometry. 7-AAD is an intercalating agent and a fluorescent molecule. It binds to double stranded DNA, but is excluded from cells with intact plasma membranes. It can be excited by blue laser (488 nm) and its emission maximum is 647 nm.

7-AAD - 1 vial (2 ml) of Ready-to-use solution. No reconstitution is necessary. Sufficient for 400 tests.

Store at 2-8°C. Protect from prolonged exposure to light. Do not freeze.
