Four new antibody clones in our portfolio

HC3aRZ8 is a mouse monoclonal antibody, which recognizes an extracellular epitope of human C3aR. This antibody is suitable for flow cytometry, and immunohistochemistry.
C3aR, which serves as a receptor for C3a complement fragment, is expressed mainly on neutrophils, mast cells, basophils, eosinophils, dendritic cells, monocytes, and macrophages. Upon detection of its ligand, the activated C3aR signaling cascade results in degranulation, superoxide production, and chemotaxis.

PODXL.jpgPcMab-47 is a mouse monoclonal antibody, which recognizes an extracellular epitope on human PODXL (podocalyxin like), and is suitable for flow cytometry, Western blotting, and immunohistochemistry .
PODXL is a highly glycosylated sialomucin, which is expressed in many types of tumors, as well as it is a well known marker of embryonic stem cells. Its overexpression is an independent predictor of cancer progression, metastasis, and poor outcome. PODXL promotes tumor growts and invasiveness, and is a potential target for antibody therapy.

GIR-208 is a mouse monoclonal antibody, which recognizes an extracellular epitope on human CD119, and is suitable for flow cytometry, Western blotting, immunoprecipitation, and functional applications.
CD119 serves as alpha subunit of interferon gamma receptor. It associates with IFNgammaAF1 to form functional receptor for interferon gamma, although CD119 alone is able to bind the cytokin. It is expressed on monocytes, macrophages, lymphocytes, NK cells, neutrophils, fibroblasts, epithelial and endothelial cells, as well as in many tumours.

H44 is a mouse monoclonal antibody, which recognizes an extracellular epitope of CD218a, and is suitable for immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry, Western blotting, and immunoprecipitation.
CD218a is the alpha subunit of IL-18 receptor heterodimer. It is expressed in various immune cells, including lymphocytes, NK cells, and myeloid cells, as well as in heart, lung, liver, gut and another tissues. IL-18 is a proinflammatory cytokine, that promotes both Th1 and Th2 immune responses, induces IFN-gamma production and activates NK cells.
