Description
The FagoFlowEx® Kit is intended for examination of
phagocytic activity of granulocytes by measuring the
respiratory (oxidative) burst after their stimulation with E. coli bacteria in human heparinized whole blood using flow
cytometry.
Regulatory status: RUO

Example Data

Fig. 1.
Fig. 1. Data obtained with granulocytes of a healthy individual (A), of a chronic granulomatous diease (CGD) male patient (B) and of two females both having one CGD-allele and one non-CGD allele on the X chromosome (C, D). Negative control in blue. Stimulation indexes (SI) depend on particular experimental conditions, but their values are in the rough 10-times lower in case of defected phagocytosis than in case of healthy individuals.
